My earliest memory of photography as a child was following my Grandad round on holiday with his camera, then watching him develop his images in his homemade dark room. He wasn’t a professional by any means, but a keen enthusiast and it took a lot of skill.

There was no second chances when it came to hitting the shutter button and then developing the print correctly!

Safe to say, things have come a long way since then with photography but I feel privileged to still have some of his old gear!

Might not be worth as much as my current gear, but I value it just the same with sentiment.

I hope I did him some justice with these photos. Im hoping to create a display with these at home to remind me daily of my own journey.
